Terms of Use

By downloading and using Cloaki ("the App"), you agree to these terms.

License

Cloaki grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

Subscription

Cloaki Premium is available as a quarterly auto-renewing subscription, an annual auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Quarterly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Subscriptions can be managed in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.

Acceptable use

You may not use the App to scrape, redistribute, or republish YouTube content in violation of YouTube's Terms of Service. The App is for personal, non-commercial use only.

YouTube content

All video content accessed through Cloaki is subject to YouTube's Terms of Service and the rights of the respective content owners. By using Cloaki, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Cloaki does not host or store video streams or other YouTube content. Thumbnail images are fetched from YouTube's servers in real-time and forwarded directly to your device without being stored on Cloaki's servers.

Shared notes

The premium note-sharing feature stores a note you choose to share on our server in end-to-end-encrypted form, readable only by someone you give the link to. Shared notes are automatically deleted after the retention period you select (up to 30 days). You are responsible for the notes you share and must not use this feature to store or transmit unlawful content, or to share another person's private information without their consent.

Service availability

The App relies on a proxy server and the YouTube Data API. We do not guarantee uninterrupted proxy availability. If the proxy server is temporarily unavailable, you can disable it in Settings — the App will continue to function by connecting directly to the YouTube API, though without the privacy protections the proxy provides. In the event of extended proxy downtime we will make reasonable efforts to notify subscribers.

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NimbleCraft is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
